The play -- based on a real fire in 1911 at the Triangle Waistcoat Factory in New York City -- is an original script by City High special education teacher Janet Schlapkohl, the organizer of the group. She said she designed the script with students with little or no acting experience in mind, as well as her special needs students. The play is the group's fourth in two years.
Sounds like a cool way to include special needs kids into theater, and the topic is a very interesting one.
