There's also an article about milk prices rising and comparing organic milk to regular. The organic market is apparently hoping that more people will switch over if regular milk's prices near the $5 per gallon cost of organic. I think they're right, in one sense - I buy organic, but I'm not a fanatic. So long as it costs about twice as much as the regular milk, I can't afford to make a switch. However, I'm going to be rather annoyed if it happens because regular milk gets more expensive, rather than organic getting cheaper. It is a slow news day in Iowa City.
