RIGHT FROM THE HORSE'S MOUTH



The Iowa City Press Citizen has an article here regarding the fake rainforest in Coralville heading the list of pork projects in the "Pig Book" and subsequent media coverage on Good Morning America. Key quote:



"With this nonprofit rain forest project, the federal dollars are a fraction of the total cost of the project," Grassley said.



You heard it here, folks. That $50 mill in federal money is a drop in the bucket compared to the sums that are going to come out of our own pockets, according to Senator Grassley. Gee, thanks, Chuck. We'll be sure to remember this one come election time.



It's nice to see the majority of the country has enough common sense to smell the bacon.
