U.S. Rep. Leonard Boswell, flanked by state and local law enforcement officials Tuesday, announced a proposal to funnel $300 million into states' efforts to better track sex offenders.

Boswell, D-Ia., has introduced legislation in Congress that he says will help create and maintain better sex offender registries. . . . "

Fine. Now can some Iowa legislators possibly see their way to ensuring that the registry is more carefully crafted so that teenagers "mooning" as a prank, skinny dippers caught in the act, and people unintentionally observed having sex in the park aren't lumped in with "sexual predators?" I analyzed the laws on that earlier.
