The Press-Citizen has a nicely done guest opinion on the local lunacy behind the Coralville rain forest project.

Who is it that seriously thinks anyone from Chicago, St. Louis or anywhere except perhaps Hills (pop. 662), will visit Coralville, Iowa, to go to a fake rainforest??? The stupidity of this entire idea is astonishing. If you really can't find better use of $180 million dollars, I know a few local schools that desperately need the money.
