Mark Frauenfelder of Boing Boing posts
an experiment to see if your mail is being tapped by the government. It's basically creating a couple of blind email addresses, one foreign and one domestic, and sending provocative messages including a unique URL to a Web server that you have access to its server logs. Theory being if it's clicked on, you'll know what's up. Of course, as it is also noted,
"It is not a good idea to try this if you hope to ever again fly on an American airline without first being strip-searched by the TSA monkeys."
