The damage is mind-boggling. The posts on missing relatives are heartbreaking. Now, the blogosphere has designated September 1, 2005 as Blog for Relief Day, trying to do its bit to drum up donations. The American Red Cross could use your support. Instapundit has a post filled with links to relief resources who could all use any amount of change you could spare.

UPDATE: On a legal note, there are a couple of sites for lawyers affected by the disaster to get in touch with opposing counsel or other members of their own firm. Take a look over at Professor Yin's blog post on the impact Katrina will have on the LA legal system.
